a contemporary of commissions like myself, interesting character designs and great art styles. i'm not usually a fan of women with shaved heads, but this one gets pulled off in an interesting way, and dark skinned anime chicks have always been awesome looking to me.

i'm gonna leave this up for the remainder of the year, but follow the rules and get in. it's fun to introduce followers to each other.

and you know what? it's rarely my success that even does it for me. it's that feeling i get for someone i have both respect and appreciation for doing something i have don or really want to achieve.

this isn't some holiday message that expires on the 26th (my love of this season expired a few years ago, i just make it through lately). this is what's going through my head as i see a girl 2 years younger than me and miles ahead of me in talent fulfill her dreams and get into one of the top schools she can. 

do i wish i could do it myself? hell yeah. but i don't wish it was me instead. especially when i know she deserves this, and has worked her ass off to get there. so, from your odd combination of fan/friend/brother-in-arms/crush from across the net, i wish you the best success you can feel, if for nothing else than making me more happy to hear about it.  

one plateau of victory looks small when you've still got a mountain of hardships to climb, but fuck the forces that bring us crashing down, enjoy your victory, and make it to the top. i'll see you there soon.
